This spring, the Royal Waiting Room at Hollands Spoor Station in The Hague will be temporarily open to the public. Join a guided tour and get a unique glimpse into the travel history of the Dutch royal family.
Hidden at Hollands Spoor Station
Did you know that a stunning Royal Waiting Room is hidden inside The Hague’s Hollands Spoor station? During the festive opening on October 5, 1893, Princess Wilhelmina and Queen Regent Emma called it a “jewel for the residence.”
The waiting room offers a rare view into the royal family’s travel past. Long closed to the public, this hidden gem is now accessible again after a major restoration.
From Sunday, April 27 to Sunday, June 29, a limited number of exclusive guided tours will be held.
Tours last 30 minutes and can be booked between 9:30 AM – 1:00 PM and 1:30 PM – 5:00 PM.
Tours are conducted in Dutch.
