The story of Inntel Hotels

Inntel Hotels is a stylish and welcoming hotel group with five locations in the Netherlands: Amsterdam, Zaandam, Utrecht, and The Hague. Each hotel has its own atmosphere and adapts to its surroundings, meaning we offer unique concepts per hotel. This is reflected in the colors and design of the rooms, lobby, and wellness.

As a guest, you can enjoy comfort and wellness. You can choose private wellness in your room with a whirlpool bath and sauna. If you choose a room without wellness, you can always make use of the general wellness facilities.

The History of Inntel Hotels

1982

The Beginning of Inntel Hotels

Inntel Hotels was founded in 1982 and opened its first hotel in Zutphen. Over the years, eight more hotels were opened in the Netherlands. After improving the hotel offerings, the Zutphen hotel was closed in 2018. In 2023, the hotels in Rotterdam and Eindhoven were successfully transferred to new owners.
1986

Inntel Hotels Amsterdam Zaandaam

This hotel is only 15 minutes from Amsterdam and has a direct connection to Schiphol Airport. In 2010, the hotel was completely rebuilt, with its façade being the most distinctive feature: a stack of nearly seventy individual Zaanse houses. The striking hotel has 160 rooms, a restaurant with a terrace, a wellness center, a Life Fitness Gym, and several meeting and event spaces. Here, Zaanse history meets stylish comfort.
1996

Inntel Hotels Amsterdam Centre

In 1996, the fourth hotel opened in the historic and popular center of Amsterdam. Inntel Hotels Amsterdam Centre has 239 rooms, from romantic suites to modern business rooms. In 2018, the hotel was expanded with 40 additional rooms. The theme 'Face Amsterdam' is central to the hotel and showcases the city's international character. It focuses on people, international faces, and the beautiful views of Amsterdam.
2019

Inntel Hotels Utrecht Centre

On January 14, 2019, Inntel Hotels Utrecht Centre opened. The theme 'Connections' is central to the hotel and can be seen everywhere. The hotel is located next to Utrecht Central Station, Tivoli, and Hoog Catharijne, making it easily accessible. It also offers a stunning view of the city. The hotel has 162 rooms, a bar & brasserie, a wellness center, a Life Fitness Gym, and several meeting and event spaces.
2021

Inntel Hotels Den Haag Marina Beach

In March 2021, Inntel Hotels The Hague Marina Beach opened its doors. The hotel is located at the Northern Harbour Head of Scheveningen, in a unique location near the beach. The interior is inspired by the theme 'Beach and Harbour,' reflecting the history of fishing, the underwater world, beach sports, and the three harbors. The hotel has 226 stylish rooms, a bar & brasserie with an outdoor terrace and pool, a wellness center, a Life Fitness Gym, and several meeting and event spaces.
Inntel Hotels Amsterdam Landmark

In April 2021, Inntel Hotels Amsterdam Landmark opened its doors. This is the second hotel in Amsterdam and the most striking building in Oostenburg. The industrial past of the area, where steam engines were once built at Werkspoor, is reflected in the design. Various materials have been used, such as raw concrete, heavy metal columns, and large windows. The windows offer a stunning view of the surroundings. The hotel has 306 rooms, a bar & brasserie with an outdoor terrace, a wellness center, a Life Fitness Gym, and several meeting and event spaces.

Inntel Hotels works hard to contribute to sustainability and the environment, with goals that often exceed government requirements. We collaborate with local entrepreneurs, use eco-friendly room facilities, and have solar panels in Utrecht. Sustainability is an essential part of our work.
