NATO Summit 2025 in The Hague
This year, the Netherlands is hosting the NATO Summit. The meeting will take place at the World Forum in The Hague on 24 and 25 June. During the summit, NATO will discuss key topics related to global peace and security.
Around 9,000 people are expected to attend the NATO Summit. The most prominent guests include heads of state, government leaders, and ministers of Foreign Affairs and Defence. Many country representatives, as well as national and international journalists, will also be present.
Transport to and around The Hague, Amsterdam and Rotterdam
During the NATO Summit, additional security measures will be in place, which may affect road traffic and public transport. We recommend taking this into account when travelling to The Hague, Amsterdam or Rotterdam. Some motorways will be partially or temporarily closed. Local and regional roads may also be busier than usual.
Public transport will operate according to the regular timetable, but it may be more crowded than normal. Please also be aware of increased traffic in and around Schiphol Airport.
