In the historic centre of The Hague, you can visit the annual Christmas market in December. This year, the Royal Christmas Fair is even more festive, cosy, and colourful than in previous years, as it is being held for the tenth time.
There are many Christmas stalls, thousands of LED lights, and atmospheric fire pits. With a visit from Santa Claus, the Christmas market is truly complete. Additionally, there are performances from Christmas choirs, storytellers, and magicians.
The Lange Voorhout, where the Christmas market takes place, is easily accessible by car, bike, and public transport. From The Hague Central Station, it’s a fifteen-minute walk to the market. The Royal Christmas Fair is free of charge and open daily from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
