Almost everyone in the Netherlands wears orange clothing, wigs, or accessories on this day. The canals are also crowded with decorated boats full of people celebrating. Please note that the city center can become very busy, and some streets or squares may be temporarily closed. Public transport usually operates on an adjusted schedule.
