On Saturday, 8 November, the city of Utrecht will once again be filled with light, music, and stories during the annual Sint Maarten Parade. A magical procession of light sculptures and music brings together residents of all ages.
This year, the parade is themed “The Parade is HOME”. From Menno van Coehornstraat, the festive procession winds its way through the Noordoost district, along the Weerdsingel, and into the city centre. The highlight awaits at Dom Square, where all the light sculptures will shine together once more. The parade begins at 6:00 PM and will end at 9:00 PM.
In addition, the Dom Church will be open this evening. Visitors are welcome to step inside and admire the special exhibition “Stories of Light”.
